Merchandising Administrative Assistant

Are you looking for a role where you can contribute across multiple areas, support a close-knit team, and build hands-on merchandising experience? We're looking for a Merchandising Administrative Assistant to support the Merchandising team across all business channels.
Working within a small team, you will be expected to juggle a fast-paced and changing workload and be able to multitask. We will expect you to support the merchandising team in all areas. Duties may cover all areas of admin, reporting, analysing, and stock distribution.
A peek into your daily adventures:
Planning
Work with the merchandising team to ensure effective planning of stock flow, commitment, intake and distribution, communicating with both the Supply Chain team and Suppliers.
Support the merchandising team to plan and manage stock allocations to stores, working with Buying and Visual Merchandising teams.
Support the merchandising team in managing in season store range amendments & review existing store layouts.
Analysis
Analyse historic sales patterns and trends.
Produce all trading packs and ad hoc analysis as required for all channels (Next, Web, Retail).
Provide regular analysis on stock levels, sales performance and purchasing.
Support the Merchandising team with seasonal analysis such as promotion tracking and markdown sales.
Trading / Operations
Responding to store queries.
Importing allocations for new season and amending allocations quantities for stores in season
Managing price lists for current season RRPs, promotional offers & markdowns, working with teams at Next to ensure these are actioned in a timely and accurate manner.
Amending hierarchies and ensuring merchandising style information is up to date on the system.
Assist in managing the outlet stores (stock and discounts) and allocating of stock and samples to the sale stores.
Collating weekly correspondence to stores & Retail Operational teams, attending regular meetings with these teams to gather feedback and communicate to the wider teams .
Attending weekly intake meetings with Buying teams to ensure stock is coming into the business as planned, and highlighting issues to your Merchandiser as needed.
Other
Supporting the Merchandising team in day to day running of the department with any other queries or analysis as required.
Attend store visits, providing useful information and recommendations, and feedback with actions required.
Skills that make you shine:
Experience with Excel.
Proven numerate and analytical skills plus excellent verbal and written English.
Be an efficient and reliable team member who can be responsible for their own workload.
An ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
