Business Development Manager - 6 month contract

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join JoJo Maman Bébé, on a 6 month contract, to strategically manage our existing Partners as well as expanding the reach of the brand.
You will be responsible for effectively trading the current partnerships, building strong relationships and capitalising on opportunities to grow the brand both internationally and within the UK. You will lead the B2B team to ensure that the strategy is executed effectively, whilst also exploring opportunities for new Partnerships.
A peak into your daily adventures
- Managing existing Partnerships, understanding opportunities and challenges both operationally and trading. Working with the B2B team and the wider business to potentialize opportunities and set the Brand up for success.
- You will be responsible for the trading performance of the B2B department, working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager you develop Budgets and Forecasts which align with Company goals, and update stakeholders regularly on performance.
- Utilising trade performance insight you will steer the B2B team to identify opportunities to further grow the Brand with our existing Partners, whilst at the same time managing Stock risks.
- You will lead and manage the the B2B team, delivering insightful reporting, to strategically influence ranges and performance for future seasons. Strong working relationships with Buying & Merchandising teams are imperative to this.
- Working closely with the Head of Supply Chain you will understand Partner requirements for effective range distribution and ensure communication is optimum to delivering a seamless process.
- Working with teams across the business to understand and build the operational capability to support the strategy.
- Working in tandem with the buying and merchandising teams to ensure that ranges and stock levels are in place to achieve the strategy.
- Have an understanding of International Kidswear markets and a proactive approach to explore new opportunities.
What we require for the role:
- Experienced Partnership specialist with a proven track record of driving effective strategies and delivering against targets.
- Understanding of the operational capabilities required to deliver great wholesale, consignment and marketplace service to partners.
- Great communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external teams, building strong, positive relationships.
- Highly motivated and energetic, and eager to grow with the business.
- Be an efficient and reliable team member who can be responsible for their own workload.
- Experience of managing a team, and supporting that team to achieve their goals.
- An ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload.
